Marmorino Polished Plaster
Marmorino Polished Plaster
Marmorino is a traditional Italian lime plaster with a naturally aggregated finish, ground marble gives it a subtle grain and depth that flat paint simply cannot replicate. Applied in two or three thin coats and burnished with a steel trowel, it produces a surface with genuine texture and movement, whether left with a matte, satin, or semi-polished finish.
It is one of the more versatile products in the Italian plaster family. The finish can be tightened for a closer polished stone look, or left with a more open texture for a warmer, more tactile wall. It works well on walls and ceilings, internally and externally, and takes colour reliably across our full ChromaBase tinted range.
What we stock:
- Marmorino Fine — finer aggregate, smoother finish, well-suited to residential interiors and detailing work
- Marmorino Classic — coarser grain, more pronounced texture, good for feature walls and commercial spaces
- Tools and accessories — the right trowels make a significant difference with marmorino; we stock the tools used by professional applicators
Who is it for?
Marmorino rewards good preparation and technique, but it is not restricted to trade use. With care and the right guidance, a confident DIYer can tackle a feature wall or fireplace surround. Our application guides cover the process in full, and we are happy to answer questions before you order.
